Leadership

Our Board is chaired by Danuta Gray. Danuta  joined the Board in February 2017 and was appointed as Chair in August 2020 and together with her fellow Board members is responsible for setting the long-term strategy for the Group. The Board act in the interests of our shareholders, colleagues, customers and other stakeholders.

Our story

Direct Line Group was formed in 2012 by the divestment of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group’s (RBS) insurance division, through an initial public offering (IPO) and was listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2014. 

Direct Line Group is home to several well known brands including Direct Line, Churchill, Privilege, Darwin, NIG, Direct Line for Business and Green Flag and own 23 Auto Repair Centres nationwide.
