The nation's favourite Goggleboxers are swapping the remote control and champagne flutes for a steering wheel and breathalyser. They are preparing to take a road-trip to France, where they'll camp together for the first time ever.

Steph and Dom will be switching their four star B&B in Kent, for a Nissan Qashqai and a tent in order to offer Brits planning to travel across the pond insight into the best scenic routes. 

In preparation for the trip, the eccentric couple, best known for their sofa small talk, have been in the garden of their Sandwich B&B practicing their tent pitching skills before they are ready to be pushed out of their comfort zone.

Their preparation was captured in a humorous video, documenting their trials and tribulations as they undergo rigorous groundwork in the back garden of their iconic B&B, before setting off to Burgundy. 

Despite having their usual luxuries stripped back, replacing duck feather duvets for sleeping bags, it’s clear that Steph and Dom make no comprises when it comes to meal times, cooking fresh prawns on their campfire stove. 

In the video, the couple can also be seen planning their route and packing the essentials for a road trip to France, including; Hi-Vis vests, a reflective triangle and a breathalyzer. 

Steph commented: "I have to admit I am nervous, but very excited, to be taking this trip. France is like my second home – although I have never seen it from a campsite before. I hope the road is ready for us!"

Dom commented: "I expect this trip with Green Flag will be a lot of fun. It's not something we've done together before so I suppose there will be lots of challenges – but we'll have to wait and see."
